About Huntington Hills Curling Club
In 1970 a group of Huntington Hills’ residents started a mixed curling league, playing at the Big Four Building.
This league fluctuated in size over the years, from the original 10 teams to a high of 32 teams in 1975.
When the Huntington Hills Community Association began formulating plans for a sports complex, it was their decision
that 8 sheets of curling ice should be incorporated into the plans. This would add to the adult usage of the facility, providing
added recreational facilities for the area.
On February 14, 1980 the Huntington Hills Curling Club was incorporated under the Societies Act, to provide an organizational
vehicle for the promotion of curling in the Huntington Hills area.
Today we have a membership of over 600 curlers participating in eight leagues. We offer a junior program, Little Rock program,
and adult learn to curl clinics.
Each year brings improvements and successes to our club.
